Tests with ISO614 Naval Records
Compliance with safety requirements and legal obligations is of primary importance for our products. We supply glass for the nautical and naval sectors and, at the request of our customers, we manage the tests with the naval registers according to ISO 614. This allows us to follow internally a phase that otherwise the client would have to deal with. The execution of the tests allows us to provide our partners with an even more complete service compared to purely glass processing and delivery and to guarantee a finished product ready for use because it has already been tested.
This type of testing, also called the punch test, is used to test the strength and safety level of glass sheets after they have been subject to different processes. The glass production procedure performed by a team of experts is subject to strict control in every phase. This allows us to fully comply with the expected results and to continue with the work respecting the delivery times agreed with our customers. The strict production control also allows us to keep our partners updated on the progress of the work, if so required. The attention to which surfaces are subjected during all processing phases allows us to deliver to our partners a product that is efficient from a functional standpoint and meets the agreed aesthetic requirements. For our Company, controlling our products also means transparency towards those who choose to entrust us with a project. Precisely for this reason, our representatives interface with our partners in several phases, helping them in the choice of the most suitable solution and relieving them of concerns during production, as well as in the delivery, installation and, if required, testing procedures.
Thanks to the experience gained over the years, we are able to offer our customers an additional service that goes beyond the mere manufacturing and delivery of the product. If our partners require it, we can manage different procedures internally. These include the final test of glasses. The procedure is performed by engineers and surveyors certified by the various naval registers who test the safety and non-destructive capability of glass surfaces. Relying on Veneto Vetro for this type of service, our customers can count on a dependable product.
