Travelling and feeling at home: cruises offer passengers the opportunity to experience comfort and relax together with adventure and discovery. That’s why more and more people choose this of holiday: +3,3% in Europe and +6,7% worldwide, according to a recent research by Cruise Lines International Association.
As a consequence, the interior design industry for ship interiors is growing fast. And for the first time in Europe, an industry fair dedicated specifically to this market has recently been held: the Marine Interiors Cruise & Ferry Global Expo, in Hamburg (11-13 September, 2019). Veneto Vetro was there, to explore new and interesting business opportunities.
Veneto Vetro has been operating for several years in the naval sector. Thanks to our experience and our technology, we are trusted partners for shipyards and shipowners for the production of porthroles and windows, even of exceptional dimensions, tested to resist to water pression, wind and fire, in compliance with safety requirements and legal obligations. We also supply glass balustrades, doors, floors, tables and equipped doors for cabins, restaurants, lounges and other spaces.
Nowadays, there’s an increansing interest for interior design, and glass is playing an important role. We are ready to answer to the new requests of contracts and design studios, thanks to our know-how in glass processing and transformation, and much more. We can also support clients in the design and give technical support, from technical survey to installation.
During our visit to Marine Interiors, we got inpired by interesting conference sessions about design and sustainability, design brand values and brand identity.
Finally, we can never forget that in the marine interiors aesthetically pleasing design must go hand in hand with international security regulations. Veneto Vetro knows it, and, on request, can manage the tests with the Naval Registers according to ISO 614.
Our visit at Marine Interior was absolutely interesting and exciting. See you next year, we will be there! J
